Jorge Pang, DVM

Dr. Pang graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelors in Animal Science in 2011. He then attended Ross University, performed his clinical year at Louisiana State University and graduated with Honors in January 2015 with a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. He worked for Banfield Pet Hospital before joining Montvale Animal Hospital in January 2017.

His professional interest is to provide high quality medicine to all of his patients. He is specifically passionate about heartworm prevention as his dog was diagnosed with Heartworm Disease at the time of adoption. Knowing first-hand how tough it was to get through that, Dr. Pang feels dedication, compassion and communication with clients are a cornerstone of veterinary medicine and his medical interests are in the field of cardiology and surgery.

Dr. Pang currently lives in Rahway, NJ with his wife Catherine and their french bulldog Meatball. Outside of work, Dr. Pang loves to spend time with his dog and bowling on his bowling team. Along with this, his other hobbies include hockey, football, scuba diving, and exploring the culinary world.
